Project: Melbourne Water East Drop Structure
Date: July 2013 - November 2013
The east drop structure is a greenfield plant located under the Westgate bridge in Melbourne. It uses a biological process to remove waste water odour from an air vent before the pipeline drops under the Yarra river. CST Automation was to provide a complete electrical and automation solution for the entire plant. This included the supply, manufacture and install of a main control panel, 7 field mounted junction boxes, all cabling, the PLC and program, and 2 human machine interfaces.
Client: CreatEnergy
Project: Oil Processing Unit
Date: October 2013 - February 2014
The oil processing unit is a shipping container based mobile unit that can process many sources of hydrocarbon products. CST Automation worked closely with CreatEnergy through the design and manufacturing stages to tailor an automation solution for remote applications and operation. This also involved developing a web-based portal employing 3G connectivity to provide diagnosis and remote operation and monitoring. The project design, construction, installation and commissioning of the entire electrical system, automation, and human machine interfacing delivered a 1st of type trial unit assisting with market commercialisation.
Client: UNIQUIP
Project: Todd Energy NZ Hot Oil Heater
